Weekend on Menalo mnt

First day:

Pick up service from Athens city and transfer, by bus, to Valtessiniko, the village where we will stay.

Proximity: around 200 km. – roads, very good. Bus trip duration: 2 hours and 30’. Altitude 12oo m

Installation at the hotel. Rest of the day free.

In the evening, dinner reception, with food tasting and various surprises.

Second day

Hiking on the north side of Mt Mainalo, following the trails of the “Arcadian Shepherds”. A fascinating journey, in a landscape that provoked poets (Virgil) and inspired painters (Poussin).

Lunch, with local dishes, in a traditional tavern of the area.

Third day:

Hiking on surrounding attractions such as Dimitsana, Stemnitsa and the Monasteries of Loussios and Ancient Gortyna. In this area, the wild and authentic scenery couples with the spiritual and metaphysical into a divine ritual, in such a way, that visitors can even redefine their own life.

Lunch at a restaurant of the area, where food is prepared with locally produced ingredients and afterthat return to Athens, late afternoon.
